MCAO Social Outdoor Gathering

When: Sunday August 29, 2021

Where: G. Ross Lord Park, 4801 Dufferin St., Toronto

Time: 9:30am

Directions to Park:

The main entrance is on Dufferin street which is south of Steeles and north of Finch as per enclosed map. Make sure to cross the only small bridge and turn left before the yellow gates. You will arrive directly to the parking lot and this is where the big picnic sites are located. There is extra parking along the road or at the end of the alley if the parking lot is full. There is also a washroom facility on the premises. Please make your own travel arrangements to get there. This location is very accessible by TTC should you wish to take the bus.

Social Gathering:

We will meet at 9:30 a.m. on the picnic ground not far from the parking lot. We will have lunch at noon and members should bring their own lunch. In addition, please bring your own picnic/folding chairs and picnic mats as there are not many picnic tables in the park. We will take attendance in the park thus there is no need to send a response to MCAO. In the morning we may go for walks in small groups and those who opt to stay can spend time to socialize or do other activities as they see fit.

Please keep in mind that mask wearing and some capacity restrictions remain in place as well as recommendations from your Local Public Health Officials that all Ontarians are advised to get fully vaccinated in order to keep themselves and others safe.
