MCAO Notice Board Updates

Updates for 2025:

  • Oral Mandarin Lessons (Fall2024/winter 2025) 
    Oral mandarin lessons will be held virtually every Tuesday evening 6:00pm - 7:00pm starting October 8, 2024. 
  • Low Impact Sports (Pickleball, Badmington and Table Tennis) will be held in the gymnasium starting September 14, 2024. 
  • Fitness class will continue as part of our scheduled Mix and Mingle.
  • Line Dance will be held in the gymnasium twice monthly.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival: Wishing you a joyous and prosperous Dragon Boat Festival! May the spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival bring you good luck and success.

The holiday commemorates Qu Yuan who was the beloved prime minister of the southern Chinese state of Chu during the Warring States period, about 600 B.C. to 200 B.C., and is celebrated by holding dragon boat races and eating sticky rice dumplings called zongzi, which were southern Chinese traditions.
